Hi!
My name is Jonas! I live to fetch and swim. No matter what you
throw, or how far I have to run or swim to get it, I will always bring
it back to you. I love hiking, camping and snowshoeing with my parents.
When I am not enjoying the great outdoors, I like to work on projects
around the house. I have already done a great job of distressing the new
hardwood floors - by paw! I and am working on creating a passageway
through the hedge, so my backyard will connect with my friend Jake's
yard. That way, we can bark at each other face-to-face, instead of
through the arborvitae - much more civilized. My long-term project is to
re-carpet the floors and recover all the furniture in yellow fur.
I work and play hard, but I also take plenty of time to relax. I get
regular massages, belly scratches and ear-rubs. I like to treat myself to
a rawhide bone and unwind on my blue dog bed.
I like to spend quality time just cuddling up with my mom and dad.
Sometimes they forget and cuddle without me, but I always just squeeze
right in between them. They don't seem to mind.
But beyond all that, I am really a spiritual dog. I am actually a
Zen-Doggist monk. Even when they don't realize it, I am teaching my Dog
Way to my family and friends.
My message is this: Exist in the moment. Whatever you do, do it
wholeheartedly. Praise nature! Smell deeply, listen closely, look
deeply. Hold no prejudices, grudges or ill-will. Accept all the love
that is given to you. Give back more. Unconditionally. Run! Jump! Be
joyful!
This is the Dog Way.
