I
rescued Roxanne from a shelter of sorts right after I graduated
from college. She has been the best companion. She takes care of me as
much as I take care of her.
Her best friends are a Basenji, a bloodhound and a chocolate Lab. She
has grown up with my Siamese cat who is now seventeen years old, and they
get along great, but any other cat she thinks is the enemy.
She is very much the head of the household. She loves to navigate and
co-pilot on road trips. She loves running on the beach and hunting
little rodents in the woods. She loves treats, loves to get dirty,
but hates to get a bath. She naps wherever she pleases and loves to play
watch dog. She thinks she is as big as a horse, but really looks like a
low-rider border collie.
Life is good with Roxanne.
