This
is Sophie. She is about ten pounds of pure pleasure, sweetness,
and intelligence. She is an "Ocherese" - that's what they call a Maltese
and Pekinese/Poodle mix. She has a repertoire of tricks she loves to
perform for friends and visitors. Her tricks include rolling over,
jumping through a hoop, dancing on her back feet, jumping hurdles, and
her grand finale is ringing a bell with her paw.
Sophie is very affectionate with those she knows and loves, but a great
watchdog and barks at strangers. She has a standard poodle sister who
is 70 pounds, but Sophie rules. When she wants attention she shuffles
her back feet until sometimes she backs herself into the next room. She
is so much entertainment and fun. Sophie has a very proud mama.
