Hi,
my name is Baby Girl Dog, also known as "BG". Somebody dropped me on
the doorstep of the Animal Hospital (actually threw me over the fence)
when I was just a little pup. My Dad, who had recently lost his longtime
friend who was also a black lab, saw me in a Pet Rescue announcement,
and said he fell in love at first sight. He adopted me when I was about
seven weeks old. Then I got very sick. I had Parvo and almost died. My vet,
Dr. Jeff, pulled me through, but I was weak for awhile.
But now I'm well and have grown a bit as you can see from my picture.
Dad and I love to play Frisbee and catch with a tennis ball. I can catch
anything thrown anywhere near me. I can run all day and nobody can catch
me unless I want them to. Right now Dad says I'm getting socialized and
learning some basic stuff like walking on a lead, sit, stay, and come.
He says I'm a fast learner and is going to enroll me in Fido school to
get a good education. I want to try out for the agility team. Obedience
is kind of boring. I have a great home now with a bunch of people who
love me. I have fights with the hose once in a while, and I really don't
like vacuum cleaners too much, but I like all people, through I still
like to jump up on them and I have to admit I still like to chew a shoe
once in awhile. Dad says that's puppy stuff and will pass when I get a
little older.
