My
name is Eric, and this is a picture of my dog Copper at ten weeks
old. She is much bigger now, but just as cute. She is a Bernese Mountain
Dog and we live in the hills of Lambertville New Jersey. She was born on
February 16, 2005. Copper is special because she has brought laughter,
joy, and love to a family who could really use it.
Copper is the epitome of casual, and will casually sit wherever she
pleases. The word "Stress" is not in her vocabulary. She has no idea of
her size and weight and is known for clearing a coffee table with one
fell swoop of her tail. If I had to describe Copper in two words it
would be affectionately clumsy. Her favorite thing to do is to chase the
water coming out of the end of the hose, and what better game to play on
a hot summer afternoon? She also enjoys a good snuggle... anytime... anyplace.
Copper is independently affectionate. Sometimes she is in full snuggle
mode and other times she is content doing her own thing. Copper really
loves being off lead in the woods, she is the ultimate hiking partner,
and is eager to follow me over any terrain. I do a lot of Bouldering,
which is rock climbing on boulders found in local parks and recreation
areas. A lot of time these boulders are stacked around one another
offering many routes to the top. Copper is so at home in this
environment that she finds her way to the top by bounding from rock to
rock. Many times she has even beaten me to the top. Copper truly a high
spirited, chill dog. She is a wonderful pet and a terrific companion.
