Lakota
is the greatest dog we have ever had. Sometimes we think he is to
smart for his own good. Every trick he does he has taught himself. He
loves to play football, and every time you go out of the house he will
meet you at the door with his football in his mouth. You have to make
him stop playing because he will do it all day. If he is in the house
and tell him to go and get a toy, he will go to his basket and bring you
one. If my husband is playing with him and I make a certain little noise
Lakota will watch my husband trying to get the toy from him and Lakota
will turn his head and not let my husband get it. He plays chase and
hide-n-seek with you also. He loves everyone and everything. We have other
dogs and cats and Lakotas treats them as an equal and he so very good
with all the grandchildren. My husband says he spoiled rotten because he
has to have a pool in the summer to play in and also all year long when
he is in the house he has to have his fan on him, he has always had one
since he was just a baby. What a life he has, and we wouldn't trade him
for the world it's self. I named him after the Lakota Indians be cause I
am half Native American and because when he was born - and even now -
he has such pride, smart, caring, loving and very devoted to his family
and he carries his name with honor.
