This
is Moby. He is a one-year-old Dalmatian who was born deaf. He
lives near Melbourne, Australia on a farm. He was to be put down
because of his deafness, except he makes everyone who meets him fall in
love with him! He is especially fond of anyone prepared to give him a
cuddle and loves to play fetch and practice for agility comps.
Despite not hearing, he keeps up with all able dogs, and loves learning
different agility courses, especially tunnels. He makes noises to let
you know what mood he is in - which is usually happy grunted contented
noises and loves playing chase with his greyhound cousins!! His
deafness means he doesn't listen much (but neither does our hearing
dog), but he always keeps you in his sight and knows many hand signals.
