My
dog Nestle (registered name Spider's Sunshine) is a female Chocolate
Labrador Retriever. Nestle is a loving, wonderfully outgoing dog. People
that meet her comment on her constant 'smile', and say that she is the
happiest dog around. What makes Nestle so happy? Pretty much anything!
Whether it's agility, flyball or frisbee in the park, Nestle is content
to be busy. She also loves dog sledding, and is famous in our area
(Saskatoon, Saskachewan, Canada) for being one of the few non-husky dogs
on the racing circuit! Nes also enjoys any form of retrieving, and was
fortunate enough to rub shoulders with some of Hollywood's stars when
she was employed as a search and rescue dog in the movie "Without
Malice."
While Nestle is the pride and joy of her human family, she is also loved
by her 'brother' Ritz the cat. Nestle and Ritz spend many hours chasing
each other, cuddling up and even grooming one another! Nestle has an
amazing repertoire of tricks which she absolutely loves to show off for
visitors. Nestle has even played foster mom to orphaned kittens and a
puppy! She is a very special dog.
