This
sweet boy is Bubba, or Bubbie. We don't know where his journey
began, but it ended up with him being on death row at the local animal
shelter. Angels intervened on his behalf, though, and he was rescued on
the day he was to be euthanized by a local animal rescue organization
and fostered for a few weeks by an angel who continues to do the same
for other animals. That is when we met him. He was named Bubbie because
he is the most wonderful big brother to all of our other pets. Miss
Fancy, his little canine sister, simply adores him, and he is the
protector of all of our feathered kids and our reptilian kid,
Miss Kelly
Don't take it from his role as protector that he is a big tough guy - he
is a big bundle of love. Everyday he meets his daddy at the door with
big wet kisses, and he is my shadow, following me everywhere I go
throughout the house. He loves to go on car rides, and will do anything
for a biscuit!
Bubbie has already been honored once, in the Timberfest (lumberjack) Pet
Contest last year, where he was third largest pet! Since then, he has
gained his full weight, and is now a strapping 85 pounds. He is the most
loyal, affectionate, and sweetest boy we could ever hope for. I am
thankful for the angels that rescued him, and those that continue to
rescue animals who otherwise might never be able to share their love
with a forever family. Bubbie has found his forever family with us, and
I can't imagine not having him around!
