Tallula
was born during the 2002 flood in South Texas; this event was a
major factor in choosing her name. "Tallula" means a storm. The name is
fitting. She is almost nine months old in this picture. She also has a very
polite and proper demeanor, like a Southern Belle. Tallula eats slowly,
sits very straight, and prances when she walks. She is very
affectionate; she loves to lay on my lap when I read, watch tv, or take
trips. She likes to stay with me as much as possible. She loves to give
kisses and her favorite treats are sow ears.
Tallula has a bit of an attitude sometimes. She listens to me more than
others and, therefore, believes she can ignore everyone else. She is
also very vocal. Tallula is very well trained for her age. She can sit,
stay, lay down, shake, etc. She also knows not to walk on the carpet;
she will sit at the edge and wait to be carried to the kitchen. She is
my baby and is the daughter of my Dudley Lab, Logan. She loves to play
fetch, watch TV and run around the yard with Logan or the cat, Psyche.
Life just would not be complete without her around.
