Tara is our baby girl. We got her from San Diego German Shepherd Rescue
when she was twenty months old and it has been an absolute joy ever since.
As our only child, she is quite spoiled and loves it. Her daily schedule
is quite set: get up, eat, play a bit, take long nap (all day), welcome
parents home, play/go for a walk, eat, beg for treat, play hide and
seek, bed.
Some of Tara's favorite hobbies include watching and chasing rabbits,
going for long walks, visiting dog parks, riding in the car, and
visiting with family and friends, both human and dogs. Her life is very
busy. We often say she has the life!
True to German shepherd form, Tara is extremely loyal and loving, great
with kids, very protective of her home, curious, energetic, hard
working, and always happy to see us! She is truly an example of the
wonderful type of pet one can find at a local shelter or rescue
organization. We wouldn't trade Tara for the world!
