Spencer
is a wonderful male Golden Retriever pup. Well, Spencer aims
to please and loves the finer things of life like fresh flowers! He is
conversant and obedient to; "sit," "stay," "down," and is a master of
"treat time." He is at the stage where he would like to test you for a
change of roles with an eye towards becoming the Alpha of the house, but
he doesn't seem frustrated at frequently failing at that aspiration.
Typical of most Golden Retrievers he loves tennis balls, but thinks that
flying disks are chew toys. He has developed a 'play time' schedule of
aggressive play around 8 PM each evening (of course that's when we're
trying to settle down after a long day), but for the rest of the time he
is a cuddle puppy. He lives near a beach and loves water especially
the bathtub when it's time for a bath - only problem there is that
whenever someone is taking a bath, he will sit outside the bathroom door
and whine until he hears the water shut off!
