Rusty
came into my life from the Eastern Washington Siberian Rescue
Association. In a short time, he became my best buddy. I harness him up
to my bike and off we go! You should see some of the looks we get. He is
very friendly with all the people we encounter.
The couch has become Rusty's uncontested domain. When he first came to
me I considered changing his name, but quickly discovered that it really
fit. His bark sounds more like a rusty gate hinge than anything else. He
loves big hugs and thinks he should be a lap dog. He has been a
wonderful addition to our family. Rusty is one of four dogs at my house.
He is very playful with the others and does not mind too much when
Blewett (my seven-year-old female Malamute) steals his chew toy. His other
companions are Sugar (another female Malamute) and Buddy (Border
Collie). Rusty is my best buddy.
