This
is our super loved, spoiled rotten and adored pet... Her name is
Renata and she is a mix of terrier, lhasa apso or something similar.
Isn't she cute? She lives in Vancouver, British Columbia and her
personality and demeanor are of a grand queen... she owns us and loves
us. She is protective and jealous, but she has a wonderful memory and
absolutely adores and worships my parents.
Every day, at about 9 pm, she follows Mom into the kitchen and asks -
no, demands - her chicken. This started as a way to give her medicine
for a few days and she managed to make it a daily habit. She gets
chicken pieces in her mouth and after those, she goes to Dad and asks -
no, demands (again) - her "cookie-time" which is a few pieces of her dry
food, then she goes to Mom for her share and finally, to me. She gives
me "five" (1 paw), then "ten" (the 2 paws) and she sits, lies and rolls
over in her very well-rehearsed routine to get the snacks out of my
hands.
We love her and she is the pet of all our days.
