Hi!
My name is Ruby, and I'm eighteen months old. I got my name
because my mom says that I am such a jewel. She gives me yummy treats
whenever I do something good, like peeing on the puppy pad. My dad gives
the best belly rubs, and I love to grab his socks and run off with them!
I love "stay at home" days when my whole family is home. I have a
sixteen-year-old brother who plays loud music and a sister who is away
at the university. My dad tells everyone it was cheaper to get me
than another kid (whatever that means!). I have lots of toys to play
with, but my favorite things to play with are my mom's collection of
stuffed bears. The bears and I play during the night when everyone
else is sleeping. (Well, do they really expect me to sleep with all
that racket going on in my brother's room?!!)
My mom really pampers me. She takes pictures of me all the time.
Everyone says I'm photogenic (again, whatever that means!). All I know
is that when the camera comes out, so do the treats! She lets me sleep
in her chair when she is reading, and she fixes my hair up with cute
bows and flowers. Actually I prefer a messy look, but don't tell her
that! I think I have the best family in the whole wide world!!
