Kibbles
had her 11th birthday on July 17th. She is a West Highland
Terrier. She is a silly dog - love to chase the flashlight beam around
the house and will even smash her nose into the wall trying to bite it. Cute.
In this picture she is taking a break from chasing the ball on a hot
day. Kibbles is a sweetie. She love to chase anything, as any Westie
does. We live in a country setting with a large lot and she loves to
chase the squirrels and chipmunks. This morning she got into
"hyperdrive" as we call it - she gets really wound up playing and just
takes off running around the house doing really quick turns. She has a
great smile when she is happy.
She loves treats - she know when it is time for her pill and just sits
there waiting - because we wrap it in a little peanut butter - yum. She
can sit, lay, sit pretty, roll over, and stay for her cookies. She loves
to be in the middle of attention - loves to have her belly rubbed but
she like her own time also when she is sleeping. Speaking of sleeping -
she has a thing for sleeping in our closet at night, either on our
bedspread we lay in there at night or sleeping under my clothes - where
it is a small space.
She is eleven now and starting to show signs of slowing down and we are
hoping she blesses us for a few more years to come.
