This
is Em, a real show off when it comes to getting her picture taken.
She loves the camera, bring it out and she is all ready to pose. This
particular picture was taken for a fund raiser for our local animal
shelter. Her happy pose earned her $450 in donations!
She is a real ball player too. She doesn't allow anyone to just stand
around, if you are there you better be prepared to throw something... a
ball, a stick, anything she can find for you that will sail through the
air. And, don't try to ignore her, she will keep tossing the ball or
stick at you until she gets your attention. Her swimming capabilities
are awesome, she won't come in from the water until she has found the
exact item you threw out. Sometimes I have to take off running just to
get her to come out of the water!
She is a good herding dog too except for the fact that she doesn't have
that bred in her, she loves to rustle her three buddies (cats) around
the house. It keeps them on their paws!
Em is the greatest friend, companion and protector. My
greatest complement was from a woman who said she originally wanted to
come back as one of her pets, but after seeing Em she wanted to come
back as my pet. No.... Em isn't spoiled, just very much loved!
