Skyler
is special in that he's never met a stranger! He loves everyone, and
doesn't have a mean bone in his body... you can probably tell that about
him from the grin on his face! If he has a fault, it's that he thinks
he's a "lap dog," and at 60 pounds, he's just a tad too big to be sitting
on his Mom's lap all the time. Everything is his favorite! Truly,
I've never had a dog that was so happy and eager to please! Since he's
a herding dog, one of his absolute favorite activities is to "herd" our
cat around the back yard. When kitty slips out the back door, I just
tell Skyler to "get kitty" and he gently, but vigorously, herds kitty
back on in the patio door! He loves to watch TV from the couch (and
my lap, oof!)... and is too cute when something on the television catches
his attention. He'll cock his head to the side, and you can just see
the "wheels turning" as he tries to figure out how that bird, cat, or
dog... or anything... got into that big box! He's a joy to have around
the house!
