Angel
is very special to me. When I was asked what I wanted for my
16th birthday I didn't say a car or money like most teenagers, but
that I wanted a puppy. When my father asked me what kind I would like,
I said that I wanted to adopt one from the local animal shelter. When
we arrived at the shelter it was closed for veterans day observance,
but a shelter truck pulled in behind us and the lady said that
although they were closed she had just picked up a puppy and if we
liked we could take a look at it. I later found out that the woman
went against the rules of the shelter to help give Angel a home.
Well, I must admit - I thought Angel was the ugliest dog I have ever
seen when she jumped out of the shelter van! But I didn't want to say
no, so I took her home anyhow. I am now very glad that I decided to
take her. She is coolest dog in the world! Angel is one of those
all-around dogs. Although she is very hyper, she is also a very cuddly
dog. She has been known to brighten many dark days.
