Snickers
is special because he responds very well to voice only commands
and I'm sure a few other dogs do this too but here's an example. If you
say "where's your ball" he won't stop looking until he finds
it. And when he brings it to you, if he drops it not quite close enough
- you say "closer" and he nudges it a little closer and if you
say "closer" he'll nudge it a little closer... etc. His best
trick is responding to "go get the newspaper" because this (on
some days) is a real chore. If he can't pick it up, he'll drag it all
the way to the door!
