Marquis
is about five years old. We went to the local shelter when we
bought our house because we needed a dog. There he was in the back
corner all huddled up and hiding. The only reason we saw him was
because we couldn't decide which puppy to get. Then we saw him. The
color of his eyes and fur was just too nice to pass up. The clerk said
he was brought in because the people who had him before abused him and
kept him in the basement. I don't know why, he is sweetest dog in the
world. He loves little kids and loves to play with everybody - even with his
brother and sister (the greyhounds). He has very good manners, but the
wild side of him comes out every so often to try to roam the
neighborhood. He is the best and the most fun dog I've ever had.
